GUIDE · STYLING
Styled looks: using outfit photos honestly.
Buyers buy the outfit they picture. Here's how to show it without misunderstandings.

AI try-on imageIn short
Styled looks are AI styling suggestions: they show how versatile an item is and help buyers picture the outfit. What matters is a clear note on which item is for sale, such as “Styling suggestion, only the blouse is for sale”. They always come with real photos of the item and a label saying they're AI images.
- Shows versatility
- Say clearly what's for sale
- Real photos as well

How do you avoid misunderstandings?
- One sentence in the description: “Styling suggestion, only the striped top is for sale.”
- The item for sale is in focus; everything else is understated.
- Order: first the generated front view of the item, your real photos right behind it, the looks after that.
- Label looks as AI images. Lawyer Jens K. Fusbahn recommends this for AI images in general, speaking to the German magazine Öko-Test.
Frequently asked questions
Can I show pieces that aren't for sale?
Yes, as long as it's clear what is for sale. One sentence in the description is enough.
How many looks make sense?
Two or three. More distracts from the item itself.
Should a look be the cover photo?
Our recommendation: no. First the generated front view, where only the item for sale is in focus, with your real photos right behind it. Looks come after.
Do I need my own clothes for this?
Not with kiki. The AI generates the pieces it combines as a styling suggestion; only your item is for sale.
